LIMA - Angela Robinette 'Robin' Sherer, 53, of Lima passed away Friday, September. 22nd, 2023 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
She was born November 28th, 1969, in Lima, Ohio to the late Gale and Maxine (Staup) Sherer.
She is survived by two brothers, Gale Sherer Jr. & Rick Sherer; two nephews, Trey (Kate) Sherer and Kevin Stahr; two nieces, Desiree (Paul) Davis, and Chelsee Sherer; six great-nieces and nephews- Christian, Rylan, Jimmy, Grace, Kylee, and Carter.
Robin worked at Plastipak Packaging for 22 years. After work, she could be found on a bar stool in Jackson Center laughing and having drinks with friends. There was never a dull moment with Robin around.
After retirement, Robin enjoyed spending time with the ones she loved most from the comfort of her recliner. For the past several years, Robin was a resident at Cridersville Health Care Center. She found companionship in many of her caregivers and in a couple of residents.
Though Robin never had children, she played a monumental role in raising her nephew, Gale Franklin "Trey" Sherer III. She loved him like her own and considered him as such.
In addition to her parents, Robin is preceded in death by a brother, Kyle Sherer, a great-niece, Lindsey Davis, and several aunts and uncles.
The funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2023, at Bayliff & Son in Cridersville, Ohio. Rev. John Thompson will officiate. The burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.

Robin and I shared a lot of laughs and fun times on the bench out front of the bar. I can always remember her smile even when she didn´t feel good.RIP Robin
