SLIDELL, La. — Anthony F. 'Tony' Plapp, age 33 of Slidell, Louisiana and formerly of Waynesfield, passed Friday, February 14, 2020. He was born August 12, 1986 in Suffolk, Virginia to Joren F. and Charlotte L. McDaries Plapp, who survive in Waynesfield.
Tony was a sheet metal worker with the Local #214 Union.
He is survived by 2 sons - Anthony Joseph Plapp and Jacob Joren Plapp; a sistser - Angela S. (Brent) Keiffer of Harrod; 2 grandmothers - Betty L. Plapp and Pauline McDaries; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was married and seperated from Shannon J. Collier of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by a brother - Joseph C. Plapp, who passed in 1998; 2 grandfathers - Herbert F. Plapp and Charles E. McDaries.
Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Terry Brock will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, near Uniopolis.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the parents.

John remebered the day we took Tony and Justin fishing on boat...they got into Mountain Dew and chocolate and they were wired!!!! That boat wasnt big enough. We ve laughed about it every time someone puts Mt Dew in our cooler! Prayers....life isnt fair.
