Catherine Contris

1952 - 2022

WESTMINSTER -- Catherine "Cathy" J. Contris, age 70, passed away on April 6, 2022, at 4:01 pm, at her residence surrounded by her family. Cathy was born March 10, 1952, in Lima, OH, to Walter W. and L. Marie (Bailey) Morris who preceded her in death. On December 30, 1992, she married Michael "Mike" L. Contris who preceded her in death on February 4, 2022.

Cathy was a 1970 graduate of Elida High School. She had worked as an STNA with Columbia Care Center. Then she joined her husband as a self-employed business owner. After retiring in 2007, she took a new path and became a realtor working for CCR. She was a member of the Christian Assembly Worship Center. In 2017, she was inducted into the West Central Ohio Pool Player Hall of Fame. "Coffee, Sudoku and Jesus", that's all that needs to be said!

Cathy is survived by her 7 children: Brad (Annette) Contris of Harrod, OH, Kelly Heinzel of Sarasota, FL, Angie Deeds, Kim (Joe Gossard) Holliday, Christina (Jon) Bodine, Barb Holliday and Ben Contris of Lima, OH, 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Janet (Tom) Bruin and Pamela (Jerry) Morris, 2 brothers: Jim (Lana) Morris and Bill (Shari) Morris.

There will be a funeral service held on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Officiating the service will be Pastor Rich Biclawski and good friend Robert Evans. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.

Friends may visit on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Assembly Worship Center or Putnam Co. Hospice. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
