CHEYANNE KLAUS
DELPHOS — Cheyanne Leigh Klaus, 20, of Delphos, passed away Thursday evening, May 18, 2017, at St. Rita's Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Her Family…. She was born March 1, 1997 in Lima to Kevin and Sandee (Klima) Klaus.
She is survived by her parents, Kevin (Angie) Klaus of Delphos and Sandee (Shawn Kipfinger) Klaus of Delphos; one brother, Dean Klaus of Delphos; 2 step-brothers, Matt (Heather Vasquez) Belanger of Delphos and Michael (Paige Fischbach) Belanger of Venedocia; two step-sisters, Caitlin (Mike Busch) Hobbs and Trisha (Brandon Hittle) Hobbs both of Delphos; aunts and uncles, Shelly Vettori, Summer Vettori, Shannon Hauenstein, Katie Dickens, Courtney Garcia, Kacee Shirley, Matt and Julie Klaus, Lee and Theresa Lauck, Tim and Virginia Lindeman, Jordan and Cassie Martin; niece and nephews, Landon, Logan, Madison and Owen; maternal great-grandmother, LaDonna Klima of Delphos; maternal grandparents, Judy and Alan Lehmann of Gomer; paternal grandmother, Ag Klaus of Delphos; paternal step-grandparents, Gerald and Kaye Lindeman; and many cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Vincent Klima; maternal great-grandparents, Thomas and Estle Edens; paternal grandfather, Gary Klaus; paternal great-grandparents, Jerome and LaDonna Klaus and Leo Schmelzer; paternal great-grandparents, Alphonse and Agnes Utrup; and her aunt, Kari Lauck.
Her Legacy…. Cheyanne loved her dog, Tiaha. She was free spirited and was the life of the party, the party began when she arrived. She loved spending time with her family and friends and loved her food. Cheyanne was beginning nursing school in August. She was always willing to help anyone. Cheyanne always had a big smile on her face. Even in her death she is giving the gift of life through organ and tissue donation so others may live on through her.
Her Farewell Services.… Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial of her ashes will be held privately at a later date.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
