Dee and I were good boyhood friends. We played on many baseball and basketball teams together. We grew up as neighbors and school classmates. He was smart and talented. A good guy.

So sorry to here of Dee's passing. I knew Dee when he was a young boy. My summer job was to manage a youth baseball league at Faurot Park and Robb Ave ball fields. I did this for CYO. Dee and his brother John would always come to help umpire or just say hello. Dee had an infectious personality. His facial expressions would make me laugh. I always looked forward to Dee and John coming to the ball park. He came from a wonderful family. I can still see him coming through a gate through some bushes and his slow methodical walk. My prayers are with all of his family.
