LIMA -- Dennis A. Gallagher, II, 53 of Lima, passed away November 30, 2024, at his home. Denny was born December 21, 1970 in Columbus to Dennis and Katherine (Shelton) Gallagher, who survive him in Lima.
On October 29, 1994, he married the love of his life, Kymbrly (Fuhrman) Gallagher, who survives him in Lima.
Denny was a 1989 graduate of Elida High School. He was the owner of Gallagher Contracting, Ohio Environment Services and S & D Top Notch Painting. Denny was a devoted Cincinnati Bengals fan, being a season ticket holder for years while moderating the Cincinnati Bengals message board. He enjoyed going to Florida and spending time at his home in Punta Gorda. He was an avid Billy Joel fan, loved going to his concerts and met him at the last concert he attended. Most of all, he loved his family. His family was the light of his life and he loved spending time with them, especially his granddaughters and his pugs. Denny had an unshakable faith and a strong love for Jesus that gave him the strength to navigate his illness with grace.
In addition to his wife and parents, Denny is survived by his children, Alexa Gallagher, Jacob / Adela Gallagher; granddaughters, Astella Stewart, Adelita Gallagher and Arianna Gallagher; brother, Scott / Jessica Gallagher and his pugs, Buster, Boomer, Bella and Brutus.
Denny's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. David Powell and everyone at the Cancer Care of West Central Ohio. Their kindness did not go unnoticed nor unappreciated.

I knew Denny for many years ! We met at Lima Lincoln Mercury on cable Rd He was something else. He could light the room with that smile of his !! We would laugh and tell stories ,never a dull moment . I would see him almost everyday at the YMCA and mess with him badly. My heart is broken for everyone that knew and loved him. I´ve known D for almost 30 years. We worked together at T&D Interiors. He would make me laugh so hard that my stomach would hurt. I went to my first Billy Joel concert with him & Kym in Columbus. I hadn´t seen D or Kym in quite a few years but we stayed connected through social media. Denny & Kym would randomly reach out to me to tell me that I was doing a good job and let me know they were thinking of me when I would lose a pet...There are no words...so very young and such a traumatic experience for his family and close friends I´m sure. Sending all of my love. I have nothing but good memories of D. Here is a picture of us on Halloween at T& D
