LIMA -- Diana K. Hensley, 77, of Lima, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at The Meadows of Kalida. She was born on September 13, 1945 in Lima to the late Hubert Green and Isabel {Koverman} Wood.
Diana graduated from Bath High School in 1963. She worked for Honda for 14 years and retired in 2004. She was an avid dog lover and loved her dog Pixie more than anything. As a youth, she was an accomplished dancer in tap, jazz, and ballet. She was a born again Christian and a member of Alger Assembly of God Church and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spoiling her dogs, nature, and supporting wildlife.
She is survived by her sons: Douglas (Jacqueline) Martin, Todd ( Merit) Hensley, Brenton (Jennifer) Hensley, Wade (Lisa) Hensley, and Sidney (Shaylynn) Hensley, grandchildren: Alaina, Ashley, Christie, Trey, Beau, Lea, Melanie, Brandalyn, Eli, Trenton, Tre', Erica, Christine, Zachary, Katherine, Kristopher, Savannah, Sabrina, Devon, Kaden, and Angel, great-grandchildren: Ella, Chase, Evan, Carson, Jonathan, Olivia, Violet, Ariella, Taylor, Novalee, Luke, Reagen, Zander, Trinity, Piper, Braxton, Adalyn, Brylon, Briar, Marcus, Xavier, Timothy, Kaye'Marie, Evlynn, Jessey, Olivia, Maxton, and Weston, step-sister: Sharon McCullough, and step-brother: Gerald Wood, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Jon Green and Don Green, and step-father: Charles Wood.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Barry Hensley will officiate. Burial will follow at Cairo East Cemetery, Cairo.
