LIMA -- Frederick Kizer, age 90 of Lima, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at home with his loving wife Debra by his side. The son of the late Richard D. and Ruby F. (Wallace) Kizer, he was born August 21, 1934 in Lima.
He graduated from Beaverdam high school in 1952 with a class of 14 students, and he was the last male survivor of his graduating class. Frederick married Debra L. Wetsel, his loving wife of 58 years, on November 6, 1965. He was employed at Ford Motor Company for 30 years before he retired, and he served as a fire chief for several years at the Beaverdam Fire Department. He was a true working man and stayed busy with many hobbies including crafting with his wife for their business, M & S Wood Products, in which they made "crafts with class". Frederick enjoyed woodworking and had a love of trains. He was a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns. He and Debra enjoyed their Sunday night card games with their good friends Lonnie and Donna Warren and Dave and Bessie Augsburger.
Survivors include his wife- Debra; his son- Matthew (Jessica) Kizer of Lima; his daughter- Staci (Ryan) Wingfield of Harrod, and Barbara (Jim) Voisard of Manchester; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a son in law- Bill Zinkon; and a sister in law- Sharon Kizer of Beaverdam.
He was preceded in death by his son- Anthony Kizer; his daughter- Patricia S. Zinkon; his brother- Michael Kizer; and his sister- Annis Kay Kizer.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 21, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, with memorial services to commence at 4:00 p.m. with Chaplain Mark Lovely officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Debra I am so sorry this has continued to be a terrible year for you and your
