BOWLING GREEN, KY -- Harold "Sarge" Leedom, Jr. 68 of Bowling Green, KY died on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Medical Center.
The Lima, Ohio native was a son of the late Harold C. Leedom, Sr. and Betty VanHorn Leedom. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Jean Leedom. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver for Crete Carrier Corporation. He was also a member of American Legion, VFW, Goshen Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rites and Rizpah Shrine Temple. Sarge loved playing cards and watching western shows especially Gunsmoke.
His survivors are his wife of 47 years, Vicki Leedom; his daughter, Betty Lou Leedom; three grandchildren, Walter L. Hyman, Jr. (Kirsten), Gage L. and Chase L. Capshaw; two great grandchildren, Neveah and Marcell Hyman; one sister, Debra Butler-Flores; one brother, Donald L. Leedom (Diana); a brother-in-law, Vincent Whitehead (Cheryl); one niece and eight nephews. and his three fur babies, Penny, BooBoo and Bruno
There will be no service at this time as cremation was chosen and entrusted to Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, KY.
