HARRIET NEU
COLUMBUS GROVE — Harriet A. Neu age 81, of Columbus Grove died 3:00 p.m., Tuesday Jan. 12 at The Meadows of Kalida.
She was born Feb. 27, 1934 to the late Smilie and Azuba Blodget Wolfe. She married Charles Reid Neu May 16, 1959 and he preceded her in death Feb. 21, 1998.
Harriet had been the owner of Neu's Farm Market with her husband until 1989. She also had been a teller for the Union Bank and retired with twenty plus years of service. She was a member of Odrer of Eastern Star and had been a past Worhty Matron. She enjoyed playing cards, golfing, jigsaw puzzels and truely was a great cook and enjoyed visiting with her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include sons: Jonathan (Julie) Neu and James (Julie Brandeberry) Neu both of Columbus Grove, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, a brother Smilie Wolfe of Wapak, sisters: Ellen Lowry of Uniopolis, Susie (Norman) Redick of Lima, Gretchen (Noel) Ritchie of Wapak, Nancy Beemer of Cridersville and Matha Logan of St. Mary's, a sister-in-law Marge Wolfe of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by a brother Freidan Wolfe, sister Azuba (Bud) Meffley and brother-in-law Francie Lowry.
The family will recieve friends 4 -8 p.m. Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The graveside service will be 11:30 Saturday Jan. 16th at Truro Cemetery Columbus Grove with Dr. Tom Brown officiating.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Anna Horstman and to the staff of the Meadows of Kalida for the care and compassion given Mom. She considered them part of her extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Vaughnsville United Methodist Church or the charity of the donor's choice and online condolences may be shared at BayliffAndSon.com.

John and Jim,
My deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. I enjoyed working with your mom for quite a few years and we were always friends. She was a great lady, and will certainly be missed.
