Helen Mowery Obituary
ADA -- Helen Mae Mowery age 84, of Ada passed away 6:50 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2024 at Van Crest of Ada. She was born August 27, 1940 in McGuffey, Ohio to the late Glen and Ruth (Jacobs) Rolston. She married Charles Mowery February 2, 1961 and he preceded her in death August 4, 2009.
Helen had retired from DTR in Bluffton. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ada. She loved to read, watch Lifetime channel and Christmas, most of all her family meant the world to her.
Survivors include a son Kevin Mowery of Ada, a daughter Lisa Mowery of Lima, 7 grandchildren: Rodney (Michelle) Mowery, Megan (Chris) Miller, Eric (Jessica) Mowery, Amanda (Cody) Chaney, Anthony (Chanelle) Winter, Shannon (Stephone) Alphonse and Sarah (Andrea) Mowery; 24 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Jerry (Kitty) Rolston of Cridersville and Gil (Debbie) Rolston of Wapak; 3 sisters: Janet Helmlinger of Waynesfield, Peggy Rolston of Lima and Deanece (Aaron) Dodds of Lakeview.
She was preceded in death by a brother Roy Rolston, a daughter-in-law Cindy Mowery and a brother-in-law Gene Helmlinger.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9th at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The funeral will begin at 6 with Pastor Jack Duffy officiating and private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association and online condolences may be shared at BayliffAndSon.com.
