JACK BIBLER
CONTINENTAL — Jack D. Bibler, 61, of Continental, died 7:57 a.m. August 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1954 in Lima, OH to Virgil and Miriam (Taylor) Bibler who survive in Continental. On April 7, 1990 he married Peggy A. Frame-Bibler who died July 11, 2006. On September 8, 2007 he married Cheryl Kuhn who survives in Continental.
He is survived by a son: Brent Harsh; a grandson: Haiven Harsh; three siblings: John (Sherry) Bibler of Continental, Jim (Marcy) Bibler of Ottawa, Joyce (Rowdy) Howell of Continental; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Correl (Garnet) Bibler; and maternal grandparents: Vernellus (Naomi) Taylor.
Jack was a truck driver for Socar. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he was a wonderful storyteller who never knew a stranger. A funeral service will begin 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental where Reverend Terry Porter will officiate. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the service.
He loved his Dr. Holly Ferris of Defiance for taking care of him, and a special thanks to Putnam County Home Health and Hospice where donations may be made in memory of Jack.
