LIMA — Jacqueline S. "Jackie" KOENIG, age 88, passed away with her family by her side at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Wyngate Senior Living Community
Jackie was born March 16, 1933 in Lima, OH, to the late Donald and Glenna (Steinman) Jenkins. On September 5, 1955 she married Donald G. "Donnie" Koenig who she met while working together at the Metropolitan Bank. Donnie preceded her in death on January 16, 2014.
Jackie was a 1951 graduate of Lima Central High School. Jackie loved the Lima community and was a lifelong volunteer. She especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
She is survived by her three children; Debra Staup of Lima, Mark (Troy Liston) Koenig of Maynard, MA and Scott (Diane) Koenig of Lima; three granddaughters, Samantha "Sam" Koenig, Hailey Koenig and Kelly Jo Koenig all of Lima; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Jenkins.
A private family service will be held in Gethsemani Cemetery.

Seems like I´ve Known Jackie all my life. I´d been thinking about her lately. Please accept my sympathy. It´s hard to lose you mom. She was so very pretty, fun loving and so many other qualities. Now she and Don. Are together again. I pray they both rest in Pease
