Janet Bonifas Obituary
ADA -- Janet L. Cheney Bonifas, age 87, of Ada, passed away at Vancrest of Ada on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
She was born on July 24, 1937, in Lima, Ohio to the late James and Naomi (Allen) Cheney, Jr. Janet married Joseph Bonifas and he preceded him in death on August 20, 2020.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Johnny) Urban of Hewitt, TX; three stepchildren: Gregory Bonifas, Mark (Lori) Bonifas, and Anna (Steve) Allen; three grandchildren: Zechariah Callipare, Travis (Allie) Urban, and Julia (Eric) Deemer; four step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Callipare; a granddaughter, LaVida Callipare; a brother, and a sister.
Janet was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She previously worked as an educational Aid at Edison Elementary School.
It was her wish to be cremated. A graveside service will take place at a later date in Allentown Cemetery, Lima. Condolences can be expressed at www.hansonneelyallison.com
