Beloved wife of James R. Schafer for 55 years. Loving mother of Marianne (Brock) Eshleman (IL), James (Dina) Schafer Jr., Donna Schafer, LTC Joseph (Jaime) Schafer(Afghanistan & KS), Kenneth (JoAnn) Schafer(IN), Julie (Dan) Schroeder(MO), Amy (James) O'Keefe and Christopher (Kristy) Schafer(AZ). Cherished grandmother of 21 and great-grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Sue Auer, Joan Wright, Joyce Klausing, Mary Jane Mead, and proceeded in death by Barbara Gamble and her brother Joseph Eilerman. Daughter of the late Margaret and Lenoard Eilerman. Passed away April 1, 2015 at the age of 75.
1957 Graduate of St. Gerard High School. All will remember her incredibly warm smile, and fun, competitive spirit, while she enjoyed spending time at the family lake house and a good game of cards. Her primary focus throughout her life was her family.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 7 from 10:30-12 Noon at Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 12 Noon.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice Southwest Ohio and Good Shepherd Military Outreach.
