Jeanette Prichard Obituary
SPENCERVILLE -- Jeanette Prichard, It is with great sorrow that the family of Jeanette Prichard announces her passing on Nov. 20, 2022 while at home. She was surrounded by her family passing away peacefully at the age of 90.
She was born on Nov. 28, 1931 in Mercer County. She was the daughter of Carl & Lois Seewer. She was married to Doyt Prichard who survives her. They were married on June 7, 1953. She had a brother Carl (Virginia) Seewer who both preceded her in death. They have four children, Jacquie Prichard of Columbus, Denise Prueter of Spencerville, Becky (Kim) Smalley of Columbus, and Randy Prichard of Spencerville. She was blessed with 6 grandkids; Stacy (Randy) Dickrede of Tenn., Drew (Emily) Prueter of Carolina Shores, NC, Abbey Prueter of Little River, SC, Megan (Ryan) Anderson of Columbus, Chelsea (Alex) Compston of Upper Arlington, and Shae Smalley of Chicago. She was also gifted with 10 great grandchildren and survived by 6 nieces. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, brother, grandson Shawn Smalley and a nephew.
She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, Rosie Reds and OSU Buckeye fan. Her love for baseball was unwavering. She served as president of Spencerville PTA and was a member of Kossuth Grange. She had Jeanette's Beauty Shop in Delphos prior to raising her family. She served as a 4-H leader and played the flute. She also worked in fine jewelry at JC Penney's. Marie Detrick, provided care and support for Jeanette along with the family.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. with a private family memorial following the visitation at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home. Burial will be at Spencerville Cemetery. Pastor Andrew Atkins will be officiating the service. Memories may be shared and viewed by visiting www.baylifffuneral.com. Memorial contributions can be given to Trinity United Methodist Church in Spencerville or the Monticello United Brethren in Christ Church.

Carol and I extend our sincere condolences to the Prichard family. Jeanette is a lot like my Mother , she was always very caring and interested in me and all my brothers and sisters. Jeanette and I love the Cincinnati Reds, especially the Big Red Machine . Whenever we saw on another we would discuss the Reds season. We are so sorry for your loss, but are gratefull she is now in heaven with my Mom and Dad, where she can be a great Angel, as she was a great person here on Earth. Ever since I met the Prichard family, I felt like it was an extension of my own. They are the definition of what a family should be. Doyt and Jeanette have raised a wonderful family, and their children are a tribute to them. Now that Jeanette has passed on to her eternal life, may God bless her as her life on Earth has blessed all of us.
