JEFFREY CARDER
DELPHOS — Jeffrey Edward Carder, age 57, of Delphos passed away surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness in St. Rita's Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
He was born to Edward and Sharon Carder August 17, 1959, in the same hospital. Both parents survive in Delphos.
Jeffery is also survived by two daughters, Brooke Ann Carder of Cincinnati, and Karrisa Carder of Elgin, Ohio; two brothers, Timothy (Theresa) Carder, and Scott Carder both of Delphos; one sister, Jennifer Ditto of Van Wert; and two grandsons, Bentley Wannemacher and Bentsen Frederick. He also has two nephews, Brayden and Nolan Ditto and one niece, Christie Carder.
Jeffery was a lifelong truck driver being lastly employed at Scott Carder Trucking in Delphos, Ohio. Friends had given Jeffrey the nick name of "TRUCKER". He was 1977 graduate of Jefferson High School, and a member of Delphos Eagles aerie 471. His passion was being in and driving a Peterbilt semi truck or riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races on TV. He had a loving heart, and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Landeck St. John the Baptist Church. Fr. George Mahas will be officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, from 2:00 -8:00 p.m at Harter and Schier Funeral Home with a Parish Wake at 7:30.
Memorial contributions will be to donor's choice.
