LIMA -- Jeffrey R. Geesaman, 68, of Lima, passed away at 8:37 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Lima Convalescent Home.
He was born on April 20, 1956 in Lima, to Max L. and Carol Elaine (Rousculp) Geesaman, who both preceded him in death. On February 19, 1996, he married Lori Kay Gabes, who survives in Lima.
Jeffrey proudly served his country as a member of the US Army. He retired as a Supervisor at Nickles Bakery, having worked there for over 35 years. Jeffrey was a Rock and Roll hippie for life and was able to make friends wherever he went through his sense of humor and outgoing nature. He loved attending car shows and collected model muscle cars, having more than 100 in his collection. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He will be sadly missed by his dog Jesse.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife Lori Kay Geesaman of Lima, are his sons Michael Geesaman, Nick Geesaman, both of Lawton, OK, Shawn (Libby) Nutt of Valparaiso, IN and Ian Geesaman; his daughters Sara (Lance) Bolenbaugh of Bryan, OH and Carrie Burden of Lima; his grandchildren Codie, Alli, Zaylin, Casey, Sophia, Tyler, Devin, Ashton, Blaze, Jaden and Sage; his great-grandchildren Kaylee, Hunter, Rosalee, Micah and Zeph; his two sisters, Cindy (Dan) Ketteman and Amy (Charlie) Sterling both of Lima; his sister-in-law Joyce Anne Geesaman of Lima. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Larry Geesaman.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Grace Fellowship Church, 1606 W. Elm St., Lima.
His cremated remains have been respectfully interred in Dayton National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Fellowship Church or the Allen County Humane Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel.
