John was a wonderful friend to me and he had a good time wherever he was. He always had a cheerful outlook on things and a great sense of humor. He was a wonderful husband to my best friend, Beth Stevens. May his soul live on in the most glorious paradise. Much love to his family from John and Shannon Layton Rogers
