CRIDERSVILLE -- Lester W. 'Les' Melton, age 65 of Cridersville, passed Monday, February 13, 2023 at his residence. A private family service was held at Shawnee Alliance Church and burial followed in St. Matthew Cemetery. Bayliff & Son Funeral Home handled the services.

Lester was a childhood friend that I reconnected with 50 years later on Facebook. Was just beginning to get to know him again. I enjoyed hearing from him and will miss his humor and friendship.
