LIMA — Linda L. Matlock, age 68, of Lima passed away 2:50 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born June 28, 1949 in Lima to the late John R. and Miriam Jane Hughes Reynolds. She married Tony L. Matlock Aug. 18, 1973 and he survives in Lima.
Linda was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Elida, attending there for 58 years, where she was a member of Crafty Creatures, making quilts and prayer shawls, and the chancel choir. She was a former member of Order of Eastern Star for 46 years. Linda enjoyed reading, baking and canning.
Additional survivors include children: Roger (Jennifer) Matlock of Lima, Michael Matlock of Lima and Sara (Brent) Crawford of Harrod, 7 grandchildren and 2 sisters: Barbara (Bob) Long of McClure and Debbie (Keith) Trettin of Monclova and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 5-7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 28 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will follow at 7 with Pastor Paul Scannell officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul United Methodist Church and online condolences may be shared at BayliffAndSon.com
