LORI DASHER
VAN WERT — Lori Dee Dasher, 58, died at 3:45 p.m. May 5, 2015, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice following a two-year battle against cancer.
She was born May 17, 1956, in Van Wert to Tom and Sylvia Thomas Alexander, who survive in Van Wert. On Oct. 22, 1977, she married Kenneth R. Dasher, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Dasher was the manager at Kitchens Inc., Van Wert, designing kitchens and baths and appliance sales and support. She loved to serve her clients for 38 years. She was a 1974 graduate of Crestview High School and earned an associate degree in architectural engineering from Toledo. She loved spending weekends with family and extended family at Lake Hamilton in Hamilton, Indiana. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going to their activities. She was a caring, generous, welcoming, accepting and strong person.
Survivors also include a daughter, Sara (Thomas "T.J.") Zura; five nieces and nephews, Angel Staude, Tracy Mitchener, Natalie Musolino, Jeff Feasby and Dan Feasby; a sister, Teresa (Lynn) Parrish, of Van Wert; two sisters-in-law, Barbara (Joe) Crist, of West Chester, and Donna (Alan) Feasby, of Van Wert; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Joseph Zura.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory in Van Wert. The Rev. Bill Schultz and the Rev. Greg Wack will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Health Professionals Visiting Nurses.
