WAPAKONETA — Luella Madigan died Wednesday September 29, 2021, at the Wapakoneta Manor with family by her side following a short illness.
She was born on a farm in Putnam County Ohio to Stephan and Mary (Weber) Miller on March 30, 1932. She graduated from Ottoville High School in 1950. She married the love of her life, John Madigan, on October 6, 1956. Prior to retiring she worked at Fisher Cheese and Superior Metal in human resources. Her greatest joy in life was being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Madigan (Glenn Emelko), Patricia Knippen (Joe), and Michael Madigan (Anna); her grandchildren Thomas, Leigh Anne, Ashley, Courtney, James, Candice, John, Alexi, Aida and Alarik and her great-grandchildren Orion and Garrett. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Ralph Miller, Irene Horner, Delores Mesker, Donna Schlagbaum, Donald (Doc) Miller, Virgil Miller, Arthur Miller and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Madigan, her parents Stephan and Mary Miller, her sisters Rita, Ethel, and Julie, her brother Norbert and many brothers- and sisters-in-law from both the Miller and Madigan families.
Services will be held at Eley Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Highway, Wapakoneta, on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11 a.m.
Viewing will take place prior to the service starting at 9:30 a.m. Following services, she will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery, with luncheon to follow at the VFW Wapakoneta.
Memorials may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I worked with Lou at Walmart and I loved this lady, I´ve always considered her a friend! She would be pleased to know that I still have my little dog that she brought me from her trip to Italy! I hope she didn´t have to suffer! Prayers for her family.
