LIMA -- Mark A. Wannemacher, age 72, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, peacefully in his home with his children and grandchildren by his side.
Mark was born December 18, 1949 in Lima, OH, to Ambrose A. and Coletta (Gremling) Wannemacher who both preceded him in death.
Mark was a 1968 graduate of Delphos St. John's High School and he received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Xavier University in 1972. He was President and owner of Double A Utility Trailer Sales. Mark enjoyed spending winters in Arizona and he loved to golf. He was a member of Shawnee Country Club and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Mark was a proud father and grandfather who especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his three children, Leann E. Wannemacher of Lima, Wesley A. (Dawn) Wannemacher of Lima and Douglas J. (Ann) Wannemacher of Cincinnati, seven grandchildren, Billy and Emily Blankemeyer, Christian, Lauren, Spencer and Anna Wannemacher and Mark Wannemacher; seven siblings, Dennis (Pat) Wannemacher of Troy, Ellen (Jeff "Buzz") Ditto of Landeck, Greg (Donna) Wannemacher of Lima, Margaret "Maggie" Wannemacher of Delphos, Beth (Joe) Wallenhorst of Delphos, Charles (Tina) Wannemacher of Delphos and Karen Shumaker of Botkins.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, David (Barb) Wannemacher and Richard "Rick" Wannemacher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2022, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2200 W. Elm St, Lima, OH 45805. Father Kent Kaufman will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel.
No services or visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, for Mark.
Memorial contributions may be made to CHP Home Care and Hospice, 1500 E. 5th St, Delphos, OH 45833.
