Gracie, Michelle, and members of the Chukes, Houston and Montford families, I send my deepest condolences. We grew up together in Greenfield Heights and have known Markey all my life. Even after moving away from Lima, Markey and I stayed in contact. His shop was one of the first places I visited whenever I came home. Supporting his back to school drives inspired me to start my own within the community I live in. The Walmart updates brightened my timeline and made me #smileonpurpose. The memories will last forever in my heart. I love you Markey

Markey was always positive. While serving in the Military, I made it a point to go on FB to see the Markey Chukes Show. Love his positive outlook on life. Sending my sincere condolences to the family. Rest easy Markey❤

Markey was one of greatest inspirations to me. His strength and positive Attitude especially when in terrible pain made me respect him even more. You pushed through it like a champ. The many times that I ve watched you perform your craft while in tremendous pain , you inspired me to never give up. You will always be a Black Superhero through these eyes of mine.
