Joey: Our condolences on the loss of your precious mother. We have been following your YouTube videos and have drawn strength and inspiration from them. You see, both of my parents - age 80 and 82, are suffering from dementia. My mother is worse than dad. They still live at home with help and I am amazed at your patience and kindness toward your mom! Thank you so much for doing this and bringing awareness to this HORRIBLE disease. May she rest in peace and God bless you and your family.

Joey and family,
Molly,s legacy will live on through the work you all have done with Molly,s Movement. It continues to be both an educational tool as well as a community of friends sharing their experiences with dementia and the loss of love ones. I stumbled upon Molly,s Movement only 2 episodes in, like a miracle of sorts...as my own mother had been recently diagnosed with dementia herself. The sense of not being alone in this terrible disease, having others who walk with you, learn how to accept and deal with the stages you go through, was instrumental to me. I instantly fell in love with Miss Molly and loved seeing bits and pieces of her true self shine through from time to time. Her sense of humor, her love for horses. That beautiful smile! My mom lost her battle on April 13, and being able to share my grief and anger and loss with this community was so beneficial to my healing. Knowing that others either are, or have walked the same path. Molly was a hoot, and I loved watching her. I forever will never have a frosty again, or see a grasshopper or ladybug that I don,t think of Molly. I take comfort in knowing that our loved ones are no longer suffering with dementia, and are all together watching over us in heaven...

Thank you again to Joey for allowing the world to share your love for Molly.

With Deepest Sympathy,

I am so sorry for your loss Joey. Your FB group helped me so much in dealing with my mom's own diagnosis of Parkinson's and dementia. I didn't know that I would lose my mom exactly one week after you lost your mom. My mom passed on June 19th. I am not dealing with it well. I'm sure you are having a hard time coping with the loss of your mom as well. I am just glad that my mom is finally out of pain and out of the prison that her body became. She had been bedridden for almost four years prior to her death. She can walk and dance again all with a clear mind. I hope my mom Linda and your mom Molly are having a chocolate frosty together in Heaven. My mom loved her chocolate so much. I miss her so much. I don't even know how to quite move forward after this. But as your motto said for Molly's Movement, we have to keep moving forward. That's what both our moms would have wanted. I hope a cure is found for both Parkinson's and dementia someday soon. God Bless You, Joey during this most difficult time. ❤
