Nicholas Taflinger Obituary
LIMA — Nicholas George "Nick" Taflinger, age 35 of Lima, died at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born May 10, 1982 in Lima, Ohio to the David Alan Taflinger and Elizabeth (Dan) Johns.
Nick was a graduate of Perry High School. He was an avid fan of the O.S.U. Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Nick also loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include -companion - Michelle Cartagena of Lima, 3 children - Lyla Taflinger, Olivia Taflinger and Dante Valenti; 7 step siblings -Alyssa Taflinger, Steve Conrad, Shara Conrad, Anthony Johns, Jessica Johns, Daniel Johns, Kayla Stoody and Nathan Johns. Grandparents -David and Janet Taflinger of Lima and Eleanor Baker of Bokbelia, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather - George Baker.
A funeral service will begin 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018 with Pastor William Turner officiating at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the funeral home.
