Norman Kantosky Obituary

NORMAN KANTOSKY

LIMA — Norman J. Kantosky, age 66, passed away April 5, 2017, at 4:37 pm, at the Lima Memorial Health System. Norman was born May 14, 1950 in Elyria, OH, to Walter E. and Blanche F. (Kwiatkowski) Kantosky who preceded him in death. On February 16, 1974 he married JoAnn H.(Byars) Kantosky who survives in Lima.

Norman was a 1968 graduate of the Elyria Catholic High School. After high school he immediately entered the apprenticeship program with the Norwalk Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #42. In 1988 he moved to Lima and then a year later became a co-owner of Dotson Plumbing and Heating in Cridersville. Then in 1997 he and his wife started their own company known as Kantosky Plumbing Inc. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Norman was an avid cruiser.

In addition to his wife, Norman is survived by his 2 daughters; Rachel M. Kantosky and Caitlin A. Kantosky both of Madison, WI, a sister in-law, Lana Kantosky of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by a brother, Casimer Kantosky.

Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Northern University Scholarship Funds. Condolences may be expressed at chiles-lamanfh.com
