Orland Freewalt Obituary
MENDON -- Orland D. Freewalt, age 92, of rural Mendon, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at Roselawn Manor in Spencerville. Calling Hours are 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 14, and 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Mendon. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery, with graveside military honors to be conducted by members of Spencerville VFW Post #6772.

Uncle Orland was my favorite person. He taught me the proper way to eat a pie, the filling. He was a loving and wonderful person, husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
