ORVILLE COMPTON JR.
LIMA — Orville "Boo" E. Compton Jr., age 32, passed away February 9, 2015, at 2:11 pm, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Orville was born October 23, 1982 in Lima, OH, to Orville and Phyllis (Johnson) Compton who preceded him in death.
Boo had attended the Bath High School. He had worked as a manufacturer with Accubuilt. He had previously worked with American Trim as a chromer. Some of his hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, boating and four wheeling. He loved anything associated with the outdoors. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and his family.
Boo is survived 2 sons; Cort A. Compton of Lima, OH and Carlin C. Compton of Lima, OH, a daughter, Jacey L. Compton of Lima, OH, the mother of his children, Amber Burden of Lima, OH, a sister Missy (Edward) Carpenter of Lima, OH, a brother, Darren Compton of Lima, OH, a sister, Susan (Carl) Stephens of Lima, OH, a sister, Angela (Carl) Miller of Ft. Jennings, OH, a sister, Tonia (Guylin) Jones of Lima, OH, a brother, Nickolas Compton of Lima, OH, a brother, Chris (Kylie Fuhrhop) Compton of Lima, OH and a "brother from another motha" Justin Luma of Lima, OH. He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews; Tia (Michael) Wireman, Darren and Kasey Compton, Samantha (James Staver), Carl and Cole Miller, Shawn and Brandon Stephens, Jayvin, Brea, Sydnee and Shylin Jones, Olivia and Audrina Compton, and one on the way and 8 great nieces and nephews and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by a nephew Guylin S. Jones Jr.
Funeral services will be held at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11:30 am. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Joe Compton Jr.
Friends may call on Monday at the SHAWNEE CHAPEL from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery following the service.
