PAMELA NICHOLS
KENTON — Pamela M. (Scott) Nichols, 65, passed away at 3:50 A.M. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at her residence.
She was born September 14, 1949 in Kenton, to the late Ray and Mary (Howard) Scott. She married Ronald E. Nichols on October 23, 1967 and he survives in Kenton.
Mrs. Nichols was a 1967 graduate of Ridgemont High School. She was a member of the Quickstep Pentecostal Church in Alger. She loved her church family as much as her own. She was surrounded for the last days of her life by her family and friends. She loved her grandson Riley more than anything; he was the light of her life. She enjoyed cooking, being a housewife and mother. She was a homemaker all of her life, a hard worker, devoted to her husband of 47 years. They were together from 4th grade elementary school. She strived to make a good home and to always be a gracious and kind woman. She suffered many years with ill health and is now in a better place with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Survivors include a daughter; Mary Dickinson of Kenton, a son; Ron (Sharol) Nichols of Kenton, a grandson; Riley, a granddaughter; Terestina, 2 sisters; Emma (Lance) Combs of Flat Gap Kentucky, Kathy (Gene) Smith of Bellefontaine, 3 brothers; Daniel (Frances) Scott of Staffordsville Kentucky, David (Allita) Scott of Brainerd Minnesota, Dwight Scott of Rushylvania, 4 sister-in-laws; Connie Knerr of Kenton, Bonnie Wyomic of Kenton, Donna (Tim) Heilman of Kenton, Alice Shaw of Findlay, 2 brothers-in-law; Lonnie (Dottie) Nichols of Kenton, John (Paula) Nichols of Ridgeway, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a still born son; Mark Daniel Nichols, a brother; Sonny Scott, a sister; Henrietta Grayson, her in laws Ronald and Ethel Nichols, a sister-in-law; Dorothy Jean Risner, a brother-in-law; Jerry Nichols, 2 nephews; Elijah Combs, Michael Grayson and a niece; Kristina Smith.
Services for Pam will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God in Alger with Pastor Dave Mosler officiating. Burial will follow in Preston Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton.
Memorial donations may be made to Hardin County Hospice.
