RALPH REX
AVON PARK, Fla. — Ralph Noel Rex, age 70 of Avon Park, FL passed away at his home on June 14, 2017. He was born on September 4, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to Joe and Roberta Staley Rex.
Ralph proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, his mother Roberta; children, Jeffrey Rex and Angela Zellers; sister Cathy McFarland; and six grandchildren; Andrew & Kristen Zellers, Jared, Jordan Austin and Logan Rex, and was predeceased by his father Joe.
A celebration of Ralph's life will be held on Sunday June 25, 2017 from 3:00 t0 7:00 PM at the Siferd Orians Funeral Home 506 N. Cable Rd., Lima OH.

You and your family have my deepest sympathies in your loss of Ralph. I will always remember playing golf and bowling with you and Ralph many, many years ago. I worked with Ralph many years at the Refinery. I wish I could attend the Memorial for Ralph but will be out of town on Sunday. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sharon, I was very sorry to read about your loss. I have thought of you and Ralph often wondering how you were. I will always remember our golf days at the Oaks. I will be in Columbus Sunday and won't be able to attend your celebration for Ralph but Phil and I will be thinking of you. You will be in my prayers as you grieve for your loss.

It came as quite a shock to us since we had supper with Ralph and Sharon just before we left Avon Park to come back to Ohio for the summer. He will be missed by us. Anyway we can help Sharon, let us know.
