INDIAN LAKE — Rebecca "Becky" Ann Bland, 62, of Indian Lake passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 in the Mary Rutan Hospital.
She was born September 1, 1955 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Hobert and JoAnn (Mitchell) Bishop. She graduated from Springfield North High in 1973. Becky always loved to be by the water surrounded by her close friends and family. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, John J. Bland; two daughters, Lindsey (Brennan) Kelley and Samantha (Philip) Hettlinger; one son, Auston (Brittany) Bland; five grandchildren, Brayden, Bryce, Taylor, Brooklyn and Beckett; one sister, Beverly (Jeff) Brannan; one brother, Steve Rust and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 5-8 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, Springfield. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am in the funeral home with Pastor Craig Grammer officiating. Burial will follow in the Terre Haute Cemetery.
