Uncle Bob was an amazing and caring man. He was one of the most humble people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He achieved at the highest pinnacle of his profession, yet you would never know that by spending time with him. He always expressed much greater interest in you than he did in himself. He also answered the call when family was struck by tragedy in 1976 and uprooted himself to return home to help care for his family. We will miss you deeply Uncle Bob.

Sincere condolences to Bob’s family and our childhood friends - Lee, Shelly and Lori. It always seemed so thrilling when ‘Uncle Bob’ would visit Northland from faraway, glamorous California. I hope our collective caring and enduring love help with your grief and that his memory always is a blessing.
