Robert Niswander Obituary
DAVENPORT, FL -- Robert (Bob) Niswander, 86, of Davenport, FL, passed away on September 1, 2024 due to complications from a short-term illness. Born to Walt and Rowena Niswander, Bob was a loving and devoted husband and father.
Bob grew up in Lima, OH, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Diana and they were married for 67 years. In Lima, Bob operated a successful TV sales and service business before transitioning to a career in Financial Services. After Diana retired from teaching in the Shawnee school system, the couple relocated to Davenport, FL. There, they both enjoyed working for Walt Disney World in various capacities part-time for 12 years.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Diana, and their daughter, Beth (Syler). He was preceded in death by their son, Scott.
A future graveside service to honor Bob's life will be held prior to interment at Shawnee Cemetery in Lima, Ohio on a date yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
