DELPHOS — Sara Elizabeth Closson, 21, of Delphos, passed away Thursday morning, December 16, 2021.
She was born August 2, 2000, in Lima, to Anthony and Sharon (Metzger) Closson, who both survive in Delphos.
Sara is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Metzger; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and her dog "Hank".
She was preceded in death by her brother, Trent Closson; and paternal grandparents, Roger and Anna Jayne Closson.
Sara was a 2019 graduate of Delphos St. John's. She had attended Rhodes State College. She was working as an STNA at Vancrest of Delphos. She dearly loved all the residents there and wanted to make a difference in their lives. Sara was very compassionate and caring, she would brighten a room with her smile. She was a very hard worker, making a difference in people's lives. Sara loved her brother, Trent, with all her heart. They are together now.
A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's High School music department. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net
