LIMA — Sean Christopher Rowe, 38, went to meet his Friend and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on August 4, 2021.
Sean was born January 3, 1983, in Greenville, SC, to David and Margaret Rowe. He is a 2001 graduate of Elida High School in Elida, OH. Sean attended Clearwater Christian College for a year and then enlisted in the Army. He did three tours of duty in the Middle East and Korea. In 2015, Sean organized an elite force of military Veterans comprised of ex marines, rangers, seals, and scout snipers to fight against ISIS.
Sean loved the Lord and loved talking to people about Him; he especially loved talking about Bible prophecy and coming events.
Sean loved to be physically fit, being active and exercising, cooking and trying new healthy recipes, animals, being outdoors, and planting his garden and taking care of his property.
He had a heart to help other veterans who were struggling with depression and PTSD like himself. He wanted to build a retreat and business for veterans where they could be safe and productive. He wrote a book about the struggles of Army vets called "The Dark Side of the Army."
Sean is survived by his mother, Margaret Rowe, his father, David (Sheila) Rowe, his sister, Amber Rowe, and his brothers, Pierce (Taylor) Rowe and Justin (Susanna Rowe). He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wendell and Shirley Zumkehr, and his paternal grandparents, William and Marilyn Rowe.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Another year has passed but the memories of your life continue in my mind and heart. All of those memories are centered at Calvary Bible Church and Lima Christian Academy in Lima, OH. I remember the time Sean reached out via Facebook. Sean was in a pursuit. He wasn't much for the classroom but his energy and strength was obvious outside the classroom. His firm belief in John 3:16 is what anchored him. That conviction is what gives me great hope of seeing him in heaven with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ one day.

I am so saddened to hear about Sean´s passing and my heart aches for the family. I have many fond memories of our years together at Lima Christian Academy. I trust that the Lord will use this sadness to turn others to the Lord Jesus.

Super intelligent dude, he was definitely not afraid to stand up for his Savior or his True rights. He had alot of big dreams and a heart to help others. He had his strongholds as we all do. R.I.P brother.
