SHERYL SPEIRS-FURER
MOUNT VICTORY — Services for Sheryl Lynn Speirs-Furer, 48, of Mount Victory, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday February 25, 2016 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory with Pastor Andy Stahler officiating.
Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 24 at the funeral home.
She died at 5:33 A.M. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Gables in Marysville. She was born on April 27, 1967 in Montgomery, Alabama to Larry and Saundra (Baldridge) Speirs. On August 11, 1991 she married Richard Furer and he survives in Mt. Victory.
Also surviving are a son; Jordan Harley Otis Furer, 2 sisters; Sarah (Stephen) Gilbert of Forest, Amanda Speirs of Kenton, a brother; Larry Scott Speirs of Forest, and 10 nieces and nephews; Shawn, Ryan, Austin, Mason, Tristen, Ethan, Morgan, Keeley, Wyatt, and Abigail.
Sheryl was a 1991 graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she received her bachelors degree in a double major of biology and chemistry. She was a very active member of the community. She was a member of the Lima and Kenton Chapters of Daughters of American Revolution, a 4-H advisor and a former member. She also belonged to the American Rabbit Breeders Association. Sheryl loved animals and teaching the youth, so she became a docent at the Columbus Zoo and had 20 years of service there. Sheryl will be deeply missed.
Memorial donations may be made to Loving Care Hospice or Hardin County 4-H.

I admired Cheryl for all the time and effort she devoted to her son Jordan & the 4H organization. May her family feel the love and support during this great tragedy and know that God is an ever present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We will miss Sheryl's animal stories especially her pride and joy talking about her sons rabbits. She will be missed. May she rest in heaven.
