DELHOS -- Steven J. LeVan, 54, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima following a hard fought battle with cancer.
A 1988 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, Steve worked for 30 years at DTR/Crown. Having a love for music, he enjoyed playing both electric and acoustic guitar. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Born January 30, 1970 in Bellefontaine, he was the son of Charles LeVan and Joyce Stout. His father preceded him in death.
On June 25, 2008 in Mexico, he married his loving wife of over 16 years, Rebecca (Harrod) LeVan and she survives in Delphos. He is also survived by his stepmother, Diane LeVan; mother, Joyce Stout; daughters, Sydney (Lex) Renner and Erynn LeVan; stepchildren, Jenn Wallace, Zac Elwer, Abby Parsons and Cary Parsons; grandchildren, Morgan Porter, Mercedes Wallace and Nick Wallace; great grandchildren, Victoria, McKenzie and Dustin; a brother, Scott LeVan; half-brother, Michael Stout; stepbrother, Freddie Martin; half-sister, Rachel Watts; a stepsister, Karen Bensinger; and several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Steve's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 W. Center St. West Mansfield. Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate and burial will follow at the North Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00-5:00 P.M. Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the funeral home.
