LIMA -- Sue Doolittle, a loving mother, 89, of Lima, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2 at her home in Elida, Ohio. Carolyn "Sue" Doolittle was born on March 15th, 1936, in Lima, Ohio to Carl H. and Mildred C. Myers.
She was a devoted mother to sons, Doug and Tom, and her family will forever cherish her love and support.
Sue was a 1954 graduate of South High School in Lima, Ohio. She was known for her many talents including art, sewing, crafting, and her sense of humor. She made a lasting impact on the lives of those around her.
Sue is survived by her children, Douglas R. Doolittle and Thomas L. Doolittle; grandchildren. John, Kassandra, Evan, Katie, and Carlan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore A. Doolittle, sister, Charlene Leffel, and brother, Carl J. Myers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research at give.michaeljfox.org.
There will be no visitation or services. Chiles Laman Funeral and Cremation Services are honored to be handling the arrangements.
