THOMAS BOWERMAN
LIMA — Thomas W. Bowerman age 71, of Lima, died 7:55 p.m., Monday Nov. 18 at his residence. He was born July 6, 1942 in Lima to George Albert ‘Spook' and Cecil Esther Mawhorr Bowerman, who preceded him in death. He married Nancy S. Gesler Dec. 23, 1967 and she survives in Lima.
Mr. Bowerman had been a corrections officer at LCI and was a member of Crossroads Church of God. He was a 1960 graduate of Bath High School and had attended Ohio State University and Liberty University.
Additional survivors include a son Sean (Jennifer) Bowerman, a daughter Megan (Faron) Kendle, 7 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law Dennis (Betty) Gesler.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Violet and Rosetta Jane Bowerman.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 24 at Crossroads Church with Pastors Randy Bargerstock and Gary Rummel officiating. The family will receive friends a half hour prior to the service.
Private burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in Bluelick Cemetery.

I have nothing but the best of memories of Tom. I consider him to have been one of my best friends during grade school and much of junior and senior high school. May God be with his family during this period.

I offer my deepest sorrow of the passing of Tom, he is a greater friend than I ever realized as was the impact he made on my life. I will truly miss my old friend and brother in Christ. I wish the Lord's peace on his beautiful wife Nancy and my greatest love and respect for her as she dealt with this situation with grace and fortitude.
