Treva Kinsinger

PANDORA -- Treva J. Kinsinger, 99, of Pandora passed away on May 1, 2024 at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.

Treva was born on March 28, 1925 in Lima to Floyd and Mildred (Cheney) Stauffer.

On November 30, 1944 she married Charles H. Kinsinger of Pandora who preceded her in death. She lived her life with grace, charm and dignity and passed away as gracefully as she lived.

During their 69 years of marriage Treva worked alongside her husband in his entrepreneurial efforts. She co-founded the Gray and White Cream Station in Bluffton, Kinsinger Produce also located in Bluffton and later Wheb Eggs in rural Findlay. She served as the bookkeeper for each of these businesses. Together they shipped produce to Youngstown, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. She and her husband owned a farm located between Bluffton and Pandora. They retired in 1982. She was a member of the Ebenezer Mennonite Church in Bluffton.

Treva and her husband went on several mission tours including the Caribbean, Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe and Haiti. They also enjoyed taking vacations including trips to Jordan, Jerusalem, Israel, Egypt, Switzerland and Germany.

Survivors include a daughter, Pauline (Michael) Edie Watts of Eastpoint Florida; two sons, Mark Kinsinger of Pandora, and Clair Kinsinger of Mt. Cory; four grandsons; J. Paul Edie of Fremont, Ohio, Matt (Andrea) Kinsinger of Findlay; Mike (Teresa) Kinsinger of Pandora, and Jason (Tammy) Kinsinger also of Pandora. Treva dearly loved her four grandsons. She found great pleasure every time she was with any of her thirteen great-grandchildren: Blythe Lieb of Findlay, Paige Badertscher of Findlay, Grant Kinsinger of Findlay, Brynn Kinsinger of Columbus, Kayla Dietrich of Maumee, Eli Edie of Troy, Makayla and Madison Kinsinger of Pandora, Troy Stevenson of Ft. Jennings, Jacob Gerten of Leipsic, Aubrey, Kaylee and Ty Kinsinger of Pandora as well as twelve great-great grandchildren.

Treva was preceded in death by a son, Kent Kinsinger; daughter-in-law, Jane Kinsinger; a sister, Cecil Hanks; a brother Floyd Stauffer Jr. and a great-granddaughter, Caitlin Edie.

A private graveside service will be held in Evangelical Mennonite Cemetery, Bluffton.
