I wrote a note about Bill's passing in July 2018. It was very sad to attend the Findlay Hamfest last September and the Dayton Hamvention in July of this year, without seeing Bill. He was a plain nice guy who will forever be missed. Don Karvonen K8MFO Apple Creek, Ohio

Brenda,as you know high school buddies who got our amateur radio licenses. Lots of good memories. Lots of ping pong and other fun times. Most important we were brothers in Christ. God Bless.

I also knew Bill for several years as a fellow amateur radio operator. Bill was a skilled Morse Code operator, and it was always a pleasure to contact him. We also met in person on many occasions, always an enjoyable time.
Rest in Peace, Bill.
