WILLIAM KIRACOFE
BLUFFTON — William B. Kiracofe, 56, formerly of Cairo, died 7:20 pm Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Bluffton, Ohio.
He was born August 10, 1958 in Lima, Ohio to Donald Kiracofe who survives in Cairo and Mary Ellen (Brenneman) Kiracofe who has preceded him in death.
William had attended and graduated from Bath High School, class of 1976. He was an over the road transport driver for the Home Run Trucking Company. He had attended the Cairo United Methodist Church. William was a veteran of the United States Army where he had been stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Cairo Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
William is survived by: his father Donald "Don" Kiracofe, Cairo; a sister Rose E. McOwen, Beaverdam; a nephew Aaron (Christina) McOwen, three nieces Nicole (Brian) Wingate, Holly McOwen, and Sarah McOwen; five great nephews and nieces; Kylee, Kaiden, Bella, Landen and Nathan; an aunt Sharon Reese, Cairo.
He was preceded in death by a sister Carolyn E. Kiracofe and a brother-in-law Robert "Bob" McOwen.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at HARTMAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, Columbus Grove with Pastor Greg Coleman officiating. Military service and burial will follow in Cairo, Ohio at Cairo Eastside Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. noon until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cairo-Monroe Township Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department and Cairo United Methodist Church.
