William Osenbaugh Obituary

LIMA -- William B. Osenbaugh, 63, passed away at 11:28 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Bill was born on December 14, 1960, in Lima, Ohio. He was adopted and raised by his loving grandparents, William Clifford and Patti (Camomile) Osenbaugh.

Bill worked as a security guard for Martin Investigative Services. He enjoyed working on cars, was a fan of the U.S. Marines, and was also a fan of MMA, having practiced mixed martial arts for a long time. Bill loved his German Shepard dogs. He had a big heart and was willing to help anyone in need. He always put 100% effort into everything. He enjoyed watching movies and collected Star Trek memorabilia.

He is survived by his daughters: Megan (Greg) Woten, and Mallory Osenbaugh; grandchildren: Kira Cowart, Caiden Stevenson, Chloe Stevenson, and Juniper Osenbaugh; sisters, Toni Marie Hale and Penny Kohli; brothers, Scott Hale and Lee Hale; handpicked dad and mom, Harold and Marilyn Tucker; aunts, Terri (Tom) Watkins, Bee, and Emma Jean; uncles, Earl (Pat) Hale and Elmer Hale; nephews and nieces: Nicholas Smith, Richard Kohli Jr., Ashley Kohli, and Bethany Kohli; and beloved dog, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; mother, Tonita (Jim) Bucher; father, Bud Hale; brother-in-law, Dick Kohli; nephew, Brandon Smith; aunts, Wiladean and Eileen; and uncle, Ray.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the funeral home. Rev. Bill Reeder will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
