OREGON - Leland L. Cross, MD, passed away May 10, 2013, at the age of 86.
He was a small-town doctor in Mt. Pulaski from 1953-1963, delivering many babies and making many house calls. He will be deeply missed by both family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Oct. 26, 2013, from 1-4 p.m. at North Valley Friends Church, 4020 N. College St., Newberg, Oregon. Please RSVP at [email protected], or 971-832-0804 if you plan to attend.

Dr. Leland Cross was a soft-spoken, intelligent, gifted physician... it was my honor to have been his secretary at the Rehabilitation Institute of Oregon (RIO) in Portland, Oregon, during the late 1960s - early 1970s... RIP Dr. Cross...
