SHERMAN, IL - William "Bill" R. Kelly, 77, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; son, Michael Kelly; daughter, Lori Kelly; four stepchildren: Terry, Kathy, Steve and Mike; five grandchildren: Jolinda Kelly, Melissa Kelly, Riah Kelly, Kylan Kelly and Kiri Kelly; eight stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Jean) Kelly of Ohio; one sister, Kathy (Fred) Peterson of Iowa; several nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by a son, Matt, and his parents.
Bill was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Robert Harrison and Alberta M. (Kepler) Kelly. He married Kathleen on Feb. 14, 2004, in Sherman.
Bill worked for Square D in Lincoln, Neb., for 23 years and later as plant manager for Eaton Electric in Lincoln, Ill., for 22 years.
He loved to hunt, fish, and especially his dogs. Bill was an active member of Ducks Unlimited.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to Living Faith Baptist Church in Sherman.

Bill was the man for the time to bring C-H into a better manufacturing Company. Like the previous post--He was tough but fair.
