Charles Thompson Obituary
Charles "CT" Thompson was born on October 4, 1970, to Diane (Curtis) Hargrove and Charles Norris. Charles, known to most as CT, was confirmed and baptized at Southern Baptist Church in downtown Cincinnati. As a child, Charles loved taking things apart to see how they worked - from toasters to TVs. Diane and Curtis knew they had a future mechanic on their hands.
At the sweet age of 14, Charles met his wife and soulmate, Tammy (Dudley) Thompson, whom he later married on October 31, 1995. Through the ups and downs, their love and devotion to each other were undeniable. Charles always wanted to work for himself, so he did just that - beginning his career in mechanics and selling the cars he repaired. He also loved to cook and had a special recipe for BBQ sauce that he wouldn't give up... no matter who you were or how many times you asked!
He was very involved in every family function - so much so that he and Tammy even made the shirts. His favorite reminder to everyone was: "Family is all we got!"
Charles Thompson departed this life on Friday, May 16, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Hargrove, and his father, Curtis Hargrove.
Charles leaves behind his loving wife, Tammy, and five wonderful children: Charles (Chuck), Jessica, Christopher, Chace, and Summer. He is also survived by nine beautiful grandchildren: Kwa'Myah (Tokyo), Jessrelle, London, James (Trey), Paris, China, British, Autumn, and Chastiny. Additionally, he leaves behind one brother, Curtis, and one sister, Carlotta.
Charles will truly be missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
