Dan Myers Obituary

Daniel "Dan" Myers passed away on September 7, 2025. Dan dedicated many years as Director of the IRS in Covington and was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He was a strong advocate for veterans' rights and will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Yong Myers; his sons, Peter (Jennifer) Myers, John (Rebecca) Myers, and Nathan Myers; as well as his beloved grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Interment with military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Memorial contributions may be made to the IRS Christmas Fund.

Dan Myers did all of the paperwork in Korea for me to get my wife here while I was stationed at Ft. Devens after leaving. He became a tremendous friend over 54 years.
