Dennis David Budde

1951 - 2024

Dennis David Budde, age 73, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, May 22, 2024. Dennis was born to Carl and Mary Budde on February 17, 1951 in Covington, Kentucky, as the youngest of their 5 children. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Clairene Hampton, and his sister, Rose (Jack) Brockman. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Derreck) Rentschler, his grandson, Jeffrey Rentschler, his granddaughter, Amanda (Lincoln) Rentschler-Teachey, and his brothers, Raymond (Kim) Budde and Carl Budde. Dennis enjoyed fishing, hiking, reading, music, crafting, and UK basketball. He will be deeply missed. Services will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, Kentucky. Burial will take place immediately following at St. John's Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Hearing, Speech, and Deaf Center and the American Diabetes Association in Dennis's name.
